Southwestern Landscapes: Sedona Sunburst

Landscapes, acrylics. "In mid summer, the hot color of Sedona's (Arizona) red rocks symbolized the 100-degree temperature. I looked for cooler colors, which were to the west, in the valley that led out of Sedona. All afternoon, the sun shot multiple rays of light over the landscape, spotlighting the earth, as if leading to the Promised Land."
