Paintings in casein. "I had been painting still-lifes with angels. It was part of a natural evolution from painting the constellations by themselves, then placing stars and moons as backgrounds in still-lifes, then painting angels with still-lifes, as a continuing preoccupation with the 'heavenly.' When Berry died, I painted a seven painting series combining her with various supportive, expressive objects."
